Position Summary
We're looking for a Rigging Engineer to join our engineering team, supporting lifting, rigging, heavy transport, and specialized project solutions across Canada. In this role, you'll develop engineered lift plans, crane studies, rigging arrangements, below-the-hook lifting devices, and other custom solutions that help safely execute complex projects.
This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working closely with operations teams, and seeing designs move from concept to successful execution in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engineered lift plans, rigging studies, and transportation plans for complex projects.
- Design below-the-hook lifting devices, including spreader bars, lift beams, and personnel work platforms.
- Prepare crane lift studies and equipment selection analyses.
- Create 3D CAD models and detailed fabrication drawings to support project execution.
- Review and revise engineering drawings, calculations, and design packages.
- Provide engineering support to project and operations teams throughout project planning and execution.
- Collaborate with project teams to communicate progress, resolve technical challenges, and deliver practical solutions.
- Interpret and maintain as-built drawings and engineering documentation.
