Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on drilling rigs and associated heavy equipment
- Inspect machinery, diagnose mechanical issues, and conduct repairs
- Troubleshoot equipment failures under varying field conditions
- Collaborate with rig crews and follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of drilling operations and rig systems, with practical experience in drilling environments

- BOSIET or equivalent offshore/rig safety certification
- Relevant technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent experience in mechanical, industrial, or petroleum related fields
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics, use diagnostic tools, and complete maintenance documentation
- Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in demanding on site conditions and rotational shifts
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with commitment to safe work practices

Role Description
- The Rig Mechanic role is a full time, on site position based in Doha.
- Responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on drilling rigs and associated heavy equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Day to day tasks include inspecting machinery, diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting repairs, and troubleshooting equipment failures under varying field conditions.
- Collaborate with rig crews, follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
- Support operational continuity by responding promptly to breakdowns and contributing to equipment reliability and performance.
