Role Overview
The Rig Auditor reports directly to the Dolfines Operations Manager.
The role covers electrical, mechanical, subsea, or HSE specialization within drilling operations.
Profile and Qualifications
- Previous experience in mechanical, electrical, subsea, or HSE disciplines within a drilling contractor organization is required.
- At least 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry is required.
- At least 5 years in a supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and OEM requirements is required.
- Proficiency in standard computer applications and reporting tools is required.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
- Experience with a rig inspection or assurance company is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical acceptance surveys on land rigs, jack-ups, drillships, and semi-submersible drilling units.
- Witness functional and acceptance tests and oversee commissioning activities.
- Perform rig condition surveys on land and offshore drilling assets.
- Witness and assess FATs, SITs, and FMEAs.
- Carry out maintenance audits, compliance assessments, DROPS surveys, and LOLER inspections.
- Support accident and incident investigations.
- Prepare inspection reports, action trackers, punch lists, planning tools, follow-up tools, and client-ready presentations.
Stakeholder and Safety Expectations
- Maintain high standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism.
- Represent Dolfines when interfacing with clients, drilling contractors, OEMs, and third-party stakeholders.
- Provide practical recommendations to improve asset integrity, reliability, safety performance, and regulatory compliance.
