Role Overview
eventlab is seeking a highly organised, commercially minded RFP & Bid Specialist for its Commercial team in Dubai.
The role is described as a long-term freelance position owning the end-to-end proposal and RFP process.
The specialist will turn technical and commercial information into clear, persuasive, and visually strong submissions.
Proposal and RFP Management
- Manage RFP and bid processes from initial brief review through final submission.
- Draft proposals, interpret RFP requirements, and coordinate Go/No-Go assessments.
- Develop tailored technical proposals and coordinate complete commercial proposals.
- Maintain proposal content libraries and ensure proofreading, quality control, and approvals.
- Manage tender and client registration portals and meet submission SLAs.
Pricing and Numerical Analysis
- Own numerical quality control for rates, quantities, formulas, totals, assumptions, and calculations.
- Build and maintain Excel pricing models covering staffing, suppliers, project costs, margins, contingencies, and discounts.
- Analyse pricing scenarios and recommend competitive options that protect margins.
