Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced RF/UHF Communications Engineer to support the development of a walkie-talkie communication device.
The ideal candidate will have both strong theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in wireless communication systems, with a focus on practical design, testing, and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize RF/UHF communication systems for two-way radios
Work on antenna design, signal propagation, and frequency tuning
Develop and test wireless communication modules and circuits
Troubleshoot RF performance issues and ensure signal reliability
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for wireless communication
Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams for system integration
Conduct field testing and real-world performance validation
Requirements
Proven experience in RF/UHF or wireless communication systems
Strong understanding of radio frequency design, modulation, and signal processing
Hands-on experience with RF testing tools (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, etc.)
Solid understanding of TRD (Transmit/Receive/Detection or duplexing concepts) and RF spectrum behavior, analysis, and management
Experience in embedded systems or communication hardware development is a plus
Knowledge of relevant standards and certifications (FCC, CE, etc.)
Problem-solving mindset with practical, application-focused skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on walkie-talkies, radios, or similar communication devices
Background in electronics, telecommunications, or related field
Ability to take a product from concept to working prototype
