- An exciting opportunity exists for a college intern to join our RF engineering test teams at the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon in Andover, MA. AMSD develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications.
What You Will Do:
- Perform RF/microwave/millimeter-wave measurements on GaAs and GaN devices, modules and MMICs (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits)
- Perform fixtured and on-wafer probe measurements
- Assemble RF/microwave/millimeter-wave test systems
- Use software to control test equipment and plot test results
- What You Will Learn:
- RF/Microwave measurement techniques including wafer probing, fixtured devices, pulsed measurements
- Use of test equipment such as Performance Network Analyzers (PNAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), Spectrum Analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Noise Figure Analyzers, Load-Pull systems etc
- Use of software tools such as Labview, Python and Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS) to control test equipment and manipulate test date
