RF Antenna Engineer II

• Design and modeling of RF/Microwave Antennas and elements from 3 MHz to 110 GHz, for a variety of applications utilizing computer design tools such as HFSS, ADS, AWR, CST, GRASP, WIPL, and MATLAB
• Microstrip, Horn, Spiral, Dipole, Blade, Patch, Reflector antenna and Interferometers / AESA antenna element design and fabrication including product qualification and support to production and technical proposals
• Work with other engineers and advisors to support our varied antenna products and subsystems, (CNI, Munitions, Missile, Electronic Warfare, Situational Awareness & Self-protection, Interferometers, AESA and other) antenna products and development
• Design, analysis and test of RF/Microwave Antennas, hybrids, feed structures, filters and elements for a variety of applications
• Documentation of design elements, antenna test procedures and support to Mechanical Engineering for design/drafting and R&M engineering.
• Set up and operational testing and evaluation of engineering hardware in a laboratory environment
• Part Time Travel (less than 10%) expected to support across sites for production support, as well as customer meetings, trade shows, etc.
• Preparation and presentation of customer support meetings such as TIMs, PDRs, CDRs, etc.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Academics in Electromagnetics, RF and/or Antenna
• 3 years’ experience in RF/Microwave Antenna design
• 3 years’ experience with Antenna simulation software HFSS, CST, GRASP, WIPL, and MATLAB
• 1 year experience with RF measurements including VSWR, Insertion Loss, Phase, Coupling, Pattern and Gain measurements, etc.
• Experience operating PC using standard applications such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, etc.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

• Desired Advanced Engineering degrees like EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering) etc.
• Academics in Electromagnetics, RF and Antenna
• Experience in RF/Microwave Antenna design
• Experience with Antenna simulation software HFSS, CST, GRASP, WIPL, and MATLAB
• Experience with RF measurements including VSWR, Insertion Loss, Phase, Coupling, Pattern and Gain measurements, etc.
• Experience operating PC using standard applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, etc.
• Academics in Electromagnetics, RF and Antenna
• Knowledge of RF/Microwave Antenna design
• Knowledge of RF measurements including VSWR, Insertion Loss, Phase, Coupling, Pattern and Gain measurements, etc.

• Military documentation configuration and control general knowledge
• Knowledge of RF system considerations such as path loss calculation, cascade noise figure, and intercept point
• Strong analytical and test skills
• Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
• Multitask and adjust to changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills both verbally and in written format.
• Ability to work in a technical team on antenna centric development programs with cross functional group of Mechanical, Electrical, System and R&M engineers.
• Ability to document technical information with applications to Performance Compliance, White Papers, Technical proposal documents.
• Good presentation skills for internal and customer meetings, reviews, and updates
