***Revised*** Visiting Research Scholar

Description: The Visiting Professionals track of the Center for Information Technology (CITP) fellows' program is for professionals - academics and practitioners - who will be on leave from their job.

These are typically nine-month appointments, commencing on or about September 1, 2026, but we are flexible, and positions can start anywhere between May 1, 2026 and February 1, 2027.

Their primary appointment will be at the rank of "Visiting Research Scholar" or "Visiting Professional Specialist" depending on experience.

*The work location for this position is in-person on campus at Princeton University *Advanced degree such as M.A., Ph.D. or J.D. *Applicants must be on leave from another institution.

If you are selected, we will require documentation from your home institution stating that you are on leave during your entire appointment period while here at CITP.

Written proof of employment and salary verification must be provided by the candidate's home institution for the appointment time period while at CITP.

Expected Salary Range: Salary is dependent on and can be up to the candidate's current full salary at their home institution.
