Role Overview
The Revenue Controller supports regional revenue control across a fast-paced international legal practice.
The role partners with the Middle East Revenue Manager and supports financial reporting, collections, forecasts, client programs, and credit control across the region.
The role collaborates with Finance teams in multiple offices to support global financial and strategic targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client contact and relationships relating to accounts receivable.
- Discuss WIP and AR balances with Partners, document actions, and follow up.
- Manage matter setup in 3E and review matters, bills, and unusual or slow-moving balances.
- Identify billing and collections bottlenecks and take remedial action.
- Prepare monthly cash collection and billing forecasts for agreed Partners.
- Coordinate billing with PAs, Revenue Assistants, and the Manila Operations team.
- Review discounts, rate amendments, and variations to standard terms and record them in 3E.
- Oversee regular and ad hoc reporting and projects for clients, Partners, and management.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, WHT, and other local tax requirements.
- Maintain WIP and AR information, manage missing time, and oversee unallocated cash allocation or return.
- Travel to Middle East offices to maintain professional relationships when required.
