Morgan Stanley is offering a return-to-work opportunity for experienced professionals who have taken a career break.

The program is intended to help participants reintegrate into the workforce and contribute their prior skills and experience.

Program Schedule

  • The program lasts 16 weeks and is scheduled to run from January 2027.
  • The program is paid.

Program Location

  • The program is based at Morgan Stanley's Mumbai office.

Program Experience

  • Participants are placed in business units that complement their skills and experience.
  • Participants receive continuous training, mentorship, and professional development.

Skills and Business Areas

  • Technology areas include Java, Scala, .NET, C++, Python, full-stack development, QA SDET, cloud, security, infrastructure, and mainframe engineering.
  • Operations areas include KYC, client onboarding, AML, reconciliation, settlements, asset services, trade support, derivatives, clearing, and regulatory reporting.
  • Finance areas include product control, management reporting, liquidity reporting, capital reporting, financial reporting, financial control, and FP&A.
  • Legal and compliance areas include contract management, surveillance, KYC and AML, data analytics, cyber risk, contract review, compliance testing, operational risk, and trade monitoring.
  • Investment management and wealth management areas include marketing operations, client account management, CRM, RFPs, financial planning, budgeting, reporting, product management, UAT, user experience, and SDLC knowledge.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must be on a career break of at least two years, calculated as of January 2027.
  • Applicants must be interested in returning to work on a permanent basis.
  • Applicants must have at least five years of corporate experience.
  • Applicants must have excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
