- The role is an 11-month contract.
Location
- The role is based on-site in Dubai.
Role overview
Lead SAP S/4HANA implementation for retail merchandising, assortment planning, purchasing, replenishment, and pricing.
Support digital transformation in a fully omnichannel retail environment.
Strategic responsibilities
- Build relationships with business leaders, process owners, project teams, vendors, and systems integrators.
- Communicate project updates, risks, dependencies, and recommendations.
- Support ERP transformation aligned with business stakeholders and the systems integrator.
- Deliver assigned modules on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Drive delivery of standard system processes and transition the program to business as usual.
- Maintain traceability across retail ERP scope, integrations, data migration, and reporting.
Functional responsibilities
- Define and model business processes with subject-matter experts.
- Design, configure, and validate pricing and product-lifecycle processes.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
- Oversee data integration, accuracy, integrity, and data models.
- Coordinate UAT, test cases, end-to-end validation, training, and user support.
- Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
People and governance
- Support project teams and vendors and manage performance issues.
- Foster collaboration across business units, IT, project managers, and other teams.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
- Act as a change-management champion for business units.
Experience and education
- Bachelor's, master's, or engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
- At least 12-15 years of IT experience in a similar role within large organizations.
- At least 5 years of S/4HANA implementation or support experience.
- At least three retail ERP implementation experiences.
- Retail functional and SAP certifications are preferred.
Technical and domain skills
- Experience with S/4HANA, CAR, retail ERP, pricing, promotions, markdown planning, consignment, and order-to-cash.
- Experience integrating POS, Salesforce Commerce, Magento, loyalty systems, and other third-party applications.
- Knowledge of retail operations, supply-chain cycles, omnichannel workflows, and retail business processes.
- Strong technical background, communication, stakeholder-management, and change-management skills.
- GCC experience is preferred.
