Role Description
- The Retail Manager is a part time hybrid role based in Dubai, with a mix of on site store presence and some work from home responsibilities.
- This role oversees daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory checks, visual merchandising, and maintaining a clean, welcoming retail environment.
- The Retail Manager leads and schedules the store team, provides coaching, and ensures staff deliver consistent, high quality customer service.
- The role involves monitoring sales performance, implementing promotional activities, and using sales data to optimize product placement and stock levels.
- The Retail Manager also handles escalated customer concerns, coordinates with head office on policies and targets, and ensures compliance with company standards and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and management.
- Customer service and customer satisfaction skills to ensure a positive in store experience and build repeat business.
- Team management and leadership skills to supervise staff, delegate tasks, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Sales skills to meet targets, promote products, and use basic sales analytics for decision making.
- Proven experience in retail or a similar customer facing role, preferably in a supervisory or managerial position.
- Ability to work on a part time, hybrid basis in Dubai, including weekends or peak retail hours as needed.
- Strong problem solving, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with point of sale systems and basic office software; familiarity with inventory tools is an advantage.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory with equivalent experience.
