Overview

WHOOP is seeking a Retail Lead to support the launch and lead day-to-day operations of WHOOP Qatar, an experiential performance center, research lab, and store located in the heart of Msheireb.

This individual will play a critical role in bringing the WHOOP retail vision to life in Qatar, overseeing the successful opening of the store, building and leading a high-performing team, and delivering a premium, data-driven member experience.

The Retail Lead will ensure operational excellence across extended hours (12 hours per day, 7 days per week), drive membership and retail performance, and uphold the brand standards expected of a world-class performance destination.

This role reports directly to the Director, WHOOP Qatar.

This role is based in Doha, Qatar.

We will only consider candidates who currently live in Doha.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end launch of WHOOP Qatar s retail experience, ensuring flawless execution across store buildout, merchandising, systems, staffing, and experiential programming.
  • Manage daily retail operations for a 12-hour/day, 7-day/week schedule, maintaining exceptional standards of service, organization, and operational excellence.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and schedule Research Associates to support both retail and experiential functions, fostering a high-performance, member-centric team culture.
  • Drive revenue growth through the sale of WHOOP memberships, accessories, apparel, and the signature WHOOP Your Way experience, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Uphold premium brand standards across visual merchandising, store presentation, inventory management, and member engagement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with global and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with brand, marketing, and operational strategies.
  • Partner with Creative and Brand Departments on sustaining of regular fixture improvements and changes.
  • Maintain rigorous attention to detail across reporting, scheduling, compliance, and operational processes to ensure a seamless member experience.
