Responsibilities
- Welcoming and engaging with customers as they enter the store
- Assessing customers’ needs and suggesting solutions to their problems
- General cash handling, working with cash registers and processing payments
- Setting and attaining sales goals
- Giving customers advice about sales and promotions
- Using upselling techniques to increase store sales
- Promoting Footy Depot in a positive and professional manner
- Recommending the best products to customers
- Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing
Requirements
- Must be 17 years or older
- Strong passion for soccer and general knowledge of soccer merchandise or trading cards
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience in retail, sports, or a customer facing role
- High school diploma or GED (or currently working toward one)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to meet or exceed sales and customer service goals
- Comfortable interacting and engaging with customers
- Basic computer skills (POS system knowledge is a plus)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and move throughout the sales floor and stockroom
- Understanding of basic retail metrics and KPIs to help drive store performance

- Locations: 75 Middlesex Turnpike, Burlington, MA, 01803, United States & 1245 Worcester St Natick Mall
- Base Pay: $15.00 $16.00 / Hour
A Typical Day

Physical Demands / Work Environment / Hours
- May need to lift or move up to 30 lbs using proper techniques and stand for extended periods
- Fast paced, team oriented retail environment
- Non traditional hours are expected, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must be available at least 3 days a week — Sunday availability is required
