Miral Experiences is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Retail Associate.
The role supports smooth and efficient retail department operations and contributes directly to the guest experience.
The position sells branded merchandise, souvenirs, and photo products using a computerized cash register.
Job scope
- Welcome guests warmly and initiate proactive communication.
- Recommend, describe, and demonstrate products to help guests make purchases.
- Operate computerized cash registers, barcode scanners, calculators, and credit card machines.
- Process cash, multi-currency, voucher, stored value card, and credit card transactions.
- Maintain product displays, restock shelves, and conduct product inventory.
- Use product knowledge when assisting guests and improve that knowledge regularly.
- Support promotions and achieve set targets.
- Handle basic guest complaints on the spot.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment and ensure products are correctly displayed and labeled.
- Assist with quarterly and yearly inventory activities.
- Perform other tasks required to meet business needs.
- Work in all weather conditions and carry or lift items and climb ladders as needed.
Essential qualifications and experience
- Higher secondary education or equivalent.
- At least one year of operational experience in a guest or customer service setting.
- English proficiency in spoken and written communication.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability and genuine willingness to entertain and engage guests.
- Flexibility, respect, and integrity.
Desirable qualifications and experience
- Theme park or water park experience is desirable.
- Cash handling experience is desirable.
- Arabic, Russian, or Chinese proficiency is desirable.
