About the Role
Original FARM (part of The FIKA Company) is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily business operations, train and supervise employees, and ensure excellent customer service in a cannabis retail environment.

Responsibilities
- Ensure that the experience models and customer retention programs are executed consistently to inspire teams to deliver industry leading guest experience
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints
- Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory taking, and cash reconciliations
- Build team commitment to high standards of service, exceeding customer expectations and leading by example
- Monitor sales activities to ensure customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements by following processes and structure to ensure compliance
- Communicate changes in policy, procedures, products, services, promotions, or any other alterations that affect the customer
- Assist Retail Store Manager with training and managing all employees in execution of daily tasks and to maximize sales
- Coordinate merchandise replenishment and the flow of merchandise from the stock room to the sales floor
- Assist the store team in maintaining the store’s visual objectives and housekeeping standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the retail industry
- Minimum of 1 year work experience in a supervisory role in a retail environment
- Clear criminal record
- Provincial Cannabis Certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership and management skills
- Organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret and analyze sales statistics
- Ability to use basic accounting and budgeting skills

Job Overview
- The Retail Assistant Store Manager, under the direction of the Retail Store Manager, is primarily responsible for the daily business operations of the store including training and supervising employees, interacting with customers, motivating teams, managing inventory levels, and handling any other t
- The Retail Assistant Store Manager is the first point of contact for addressing and dealing with customer complaints and ensuring that customers have an enjoyable experience.

- Provincial Cannabis Certification.
