Restaurant Operations Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house teams, manage schedules, and monitor service standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and oversee inventory, ordering, vendors, and cost controls.
• Implement health, safety, and hygiene standards and handle guest feedback.
• Collaborate with HR on recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
• Review operational reports and KPIs, recommend improvements, and support team training.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant or hospitality operations management, including team supervision.
• Strong staff scheduling, leadership, conflict resolution, and performance management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards.
• Ability to manage inventory, purchasing, cost control, and basic budgeting.
• Experience with guest feedback, service recovery, and customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency with restaurant management systems or POS platforms and basic reporting.

Preferred qualifications

• A relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in Arabic is required, while English proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills are expected.

Workplace

• The role is full-time and on-site in Jeddah.
