Role Overview
The Restaurant Manager, also described as Outlet Manager, maintains high guest service by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service from restaurant staff.
The role manages dining operations, employees, guest relations, operating controls, food quality, and coordination with related hotel departments.
Core Responsibilities
- Select, train, evaluate, schedule, motivate, coach, and discipline restaurant employees while maintaining required service and cultural standards.
- Manage the dining operation and its managers and employees.
- Remain visible in the operation, recognize performance, promote good public relations, and handle guest complaints, concerns, and special requests.
