A soon-to-open Dubai restaurant specializing in Modern Indian cuisine is hiring team members for its launch and daily operations.
The posting covers Modern Indian and Tandoor Chef, Commis Chef, and Housekeeping Staff roles.
Tandoor Chef Responsibilities
- Prepare Modern Indian dishes, including tandoor breads, kebabs, and marinated meats.
- Maintain and season the tandoor oven for consistent temperature and quality.
- Develop recipes for the restaurant's Modern Indian concept.
- Manage food quality, presentation, hygiene, stock, ordering, and portion control.
- Train junior kitchen staff on tandoor techniques.
Tandoor Chef Requirements
- Three to five years of Tandoor Chef experience is required.
- Knowledge of Indian spices, marinades, and regional cooking techniques is required.
- New restaurant opening experience is a plus.
- Food safety certification and UAE experience are preferred.
Commis Chef Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs with food preparation, cooking, and plating.
