Company Overview
Woodlyns is partnering with a well-known chef to create a Jewish-Chinese, family-friendly dining experience in an underserved but affluent and busy area of midtown Toronto.
The restaurant is targeted to open in September 2026 and is progressing through construction with an established restaurant design firm and general contractor.
The venue will serve families, affluent patrons, and private dining events.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Restaurant General Manager role based in Toronto, Ontario.
The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, service delivery, customer satisfaction, budgets, profitability, hiring, training, and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Manage budgets and drive profitability.
- Hire and train staff and manage team members effectively.
- Promote a positive customer experience and uphold quality and service standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in P&L management and budgeting to optimize financial performance.
