- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high quality service delivery
- Create a warm, personalised, and memorable dining experience for every guest
- Maintain exceptional service standards aligned with Banyan Tree luxury hospitality expectations
- Conduct regular floor presence and engage with guests to understand their experience and feedback
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery with professionalism
- Lead, motivate, and develop the restaurant team to deliver exceptional service standards
- Drive restaurant revenue, profitability, and overall financial performance
- Monitor sales performance, guest spend, and operational costs
- Support menu engineering, promotions, and revenue generating initiatives
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar leadership role in luxury hospitality
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financial management, and guest service excellence
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high end environment

Role Overview
- As a Restaurant General Manager at Banyan Tree Dubai, you are responsible for leading the overall operation of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, commercial performance, and operational excellence.
- You are a key ambassador of the Banyan Tree brand, creating memorable dining experiences through outstanding service standards, strong team leadership, and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Restaurant Operations & Guest Experience: Oversee daily operations, create personalised dining experiences, maintain service standards, conduct floor presence, handle feedback.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop the team; manage recruitment, training, coaching, and performance development; conduct briefings.
- Financial Performance & Commercial Management: Drive revenue and profitability; monitor sales and costs; support menu engineering and promotions; manage labour costs.
- Food & Beverage Standards: Ensure consistent F&B quality; maintain menu knowledge; support upselling; ensure compliance with food safety and HACCP.
- Communication & Collaboration: Work with Culinary, In Room Dining, Events, Front Office, Concierge, and other departments; maintain supplier relationships.
- Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with hotel policies, operational standards, and local regulations; maintain cleanliness and hygiene; ensure responsible service of alcohol.
