Description:
As a Respiratory Therapist III, you will be responsible for mentoring, promoting standards of practice, responding to clinical questions, and coordinating ongoing skill and student development within your team. You will collaborate with managers and supervisors in the provision and access to internal and external continuing education and professional development programs including certifications and upgrades.

Active or eligible for registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CRTA).
A minimum three years of current adult acute and critical care experience as a Respiratory Therapist is required. The successful candidate will possess the following: strong interpersonal, oral and written skills; strong organizational and planning skills; strong problem-solving, decision-making, collaboration skills and proven leadership skills. This self-directed individual will be flexible and adaptable and possess the ability to manage and facilitate changes within a fast-paced environment.
Relevant Baccalaureate preparation, experience in providing adult education, previous educator background, CSRT registration. Previous experience in the development of evidence-based practice standards and the development and maintenance of quality assurance and quality control programs preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
