Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise resource planning strategies and capacity management frameworks
- Lead resource planning activities including workforce forecasting, capacity planning, resource allocation, and utilization monitoring
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to balance resource availability with business demand
- Develop short term and long term resource forecasts using historical trends and predictive modeling
- Monitor KPIs including resource utilization, forecast accuracy, and project staffing efficiency
- Analyze workforce demand and project pipelines to identify resource gaps and optimization opportunities
- Establish resource governance processes and prioritization frameworks
- Partner with talent acquisition and learning & development to support workforce planning
- Evaluate and implement workforce planning technologies and AI powered forecasting tools
- Prepare resource planning reports and capacity dashboards for senior leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop resource planners and workforce analysts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in resource planning, workforce planning, capacity management, or related roles
- 2+ years of experience managing enterprise resource planning programs or teams preferred
- Strong understanding of capacity planning, demand forecasting, workforce planning, and resource allocation
- Experience with ERP systems, PSA platforms, PPM systems, and workforce management software
- Strong leadership, analytical, strategic thinking, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

The Role
- We are seeking an experienced Resource Planning Manager to lead enterprise resource planning, workforce capacity management, and resource optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise resource planning strategies, capacity management frameworks, and governance processes.
- Lead resource planning activities including workforce forecasting, capacity planning, resource allocation, scheduling, utilization monitoring, and demand management.
- Collaborate with operations, project management, human resources, finance, procurement, technology, customer service, supply chain, and executive leadership.
- Develop short term and long term resource forecasts using historical trends, business growth projections, workload analysis, and predictive modeling.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including resource utilization, capacity availability, forecast accuracy, project staffing efficiency, scheduling effectiveness, overtime costs, productivity, and operational performance.
- Analyze workforce demand, project pipelines, business priorities, skills availability, and operational constraints to identify resource gaps, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
- Establish resource governance processes, prioritization frameworks, escalation procedures, and allocation methodologies.
- Partner with talent acquisition, learning and development, and department leaders to support workforce planning, succession planning, cross training, and capability development.
- Evaluate and implement workforce planning technologies, scheduling tools, automation solutions, AI powered forecasting, and analytics platforms.
- Utilize ERP systems, PSA platforms, PPM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, workforce management solutions, and business intelligence tools.
- Prepare resource planning reports, capacity dashboards, executive presentations, workforce forecasts, operational analyses, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop resource planners, workforce analysts, scheduling specialists, project coordinators, and cross functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Master's degree or professional certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, CWPP, APICS, PMI PBA, or equivalent are advantageous.
- 5+ years of experience in resource planning, workforce planning, capacity management, operations management, project management, or related roles.
- 2+ years of experience managing enterprise resource planning programs, workforce planning teams, or cross functional resource management initiatives preferred.
- Strong understanding of capacity planning, demand forecasting, workforce planning, resource allocation, scheduling, portfolio management, operational analytics, and business planning principles.
- Experience with ERP systems, PSA platforms, PPM systems, workforce management software, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), Power BI, business intelligence platforms, and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with AI powered forecasting, predictive analytics, RPA, digital workforce planning solutions, Agile resource management, and enterprise transformation initiatives is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, analytical, strategic thinking, organizational, financial, and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, presentation, facilitation, and cross functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to optimize enterprise resource utilization while balancing operational efficiency, employee wellbeing, customer commitments, financial objectives, and strategic business priorities.
- Ability to work independently in remote and hybrid environments.
