Role Overview

Construction Supervision

• Lead construction supervision activities for the assigned project.
• Establish a construction management plan to administer contracts consistently.
• Monitor contractor progress during construction and regularly assess output.

Contract and Stakeholder Coordination

• Initiate and respond to contractual correspondence with the client and contractor.
• Arrange, chair, and record kick-off, progress, and management meetings.
• Ensure the contractor coordinates with service and other authorities in a timely manner.

Inspection, Safety, and Quality

• Establish procedures for inspection approvals, testing, and commissioning.
• Review the contractor's HSE plan and ensure site safety procedures are followed.
• Implement QMS requirements and conduct regular audits.

Programs and Commercial Administration

• Review contractor programs for contract compliance, resources, and cash flow.
• Certify interim and final payments after full review and consultation.
• Prepare substantial completion reports and record outstanding requirements.
• Issue taking-over and defects liability certificates as required by the contract.

Qualifications and Experience

• BEng or BSc (Hons) in Civil or Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 20 years of experience managing major building projects.
• Experience with high-rise developments, luxury hotels, large-scale residential complexes, and commercial buildings.
• Prior UAE experience with a consulting background.
• Proficiency in discipline-specific software.
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.
