Job Description
Serve as the on-site engineering representative for enabling works in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Oversee preliminary construction phases, site preparation, and temporary works safely and in compliance with specifications and local regulations.
Coordinate stakeholders, maintain documentation, and support schedule and quality objectives.
Core Responsibilities
- Supervise site preparation, temporary structures, utility installations, and other enabling works activities.
- Inspect construction against approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, HSE protocols, and local regulations.
- Coordinate trades, contractors, project stakeholders, communications, schedules, budgets, site records, and technical meetings.
- Identify hazards and compliance issues, resolve technical problems, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze construction methodologies and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 20 years of building-engineering experience focused on managing large-scale projects.
- Strong civil and structural engineering knowledge and proficiency with technical drawings and construction documents.
