Role Description
- The Resident Engineer is a full time, on site role based in the Riyadh Region, responsible for overseeing day to day construction activities.
- Ensure work complies with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
- Supervise contractors, monitor quality and progress, and coordinate with project managers, designers, and client representatives.
- Prepare and review reports, inspection records, and site documentation.
- Participate in meetings to address construction challenges and schedule updates.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental requirements, identify risks, and support timely delivery of project milestones.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in civil/structural or architectural engineering, including ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and building codes.
- Skills in construction supervision and site management, including monitoring contractors, inspecting works, and managing quality and safety.
- Project coordination and communication skills, including ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Problem solving and decision making skills to address technical challenges promptly.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (civil, structural, architectural, or related field) from an accredited institution; professional registration or certification is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in construction supervision or resident engineering on medium to large scale projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software, MS Office, and project documentation systems.
