Responsibilities
- Supervise day to day construction activities for villas and high rise buildings
- Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE authority regulations
- Lead and manage site supervision teams, inspectors, and discipline engineers
- Review and approve contractor submissions (shop drawings, materials, method statements)
- Monitor project progress, schedule, and quality standards
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety (HSE) standards
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during construction
- Review contractor's progress payments, variations, and claims
- Prepare progress reports and update stakeholders regularly
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 15+ years of experience, including UAE experience in consultancy/supervision roles
- Proven experience in villa projects and high rise building construction in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, authority approvals (DM, DDA, Trakhees, etc.)
- Experience in managing full project lifecycle from design coordination to handover
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Office)
- Professional certifications (PMP/Chartered Engineer) are an advantage
