Role Overview
The Resident Engineer will lead construction supervision and oversee project delivery.
The role represents the Consultant and coordinates with the Client, Contractor, PMC, and project stakeholders.
Project Delivery
- Lead and manage the construction supervision team.
- Ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, contracts, quality, and HSE requirements.
- Monitor progress, schedules, risks, and corrective actions.
Technical and Contract Administration
- Review work programs, method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions.
- Manage RFIs, variations, claims, reports, payment certifications, and other contract administration activities.
- Lead coordination meetings and resolve technical, contractual, and multidisciplinary issues.
Completion and Handover
- Oversee testing, commissioning, completion, and project handover.
Requirements
- A BSc in Architecture and at least 20 years of experience are required.
- At least 10 years of experience in KSA or the GCC is required.
- PMP certification and strong project management skills are required.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and proficiency in Aconex are required.
- Fluency in English and excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills are required.
