Reservations Supervisor

Position Summary

Schedule and Location

• The schedule is full time.
• The position is not remote and is located at Ras Abu Abboud Street, Doha, Qatar.

Reservations Responsibilities

• Oversee the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.
• Review and implement new reservations procedures.
• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room types.
• Verify availability and rates, explain reservation policies, and document special requests.
• Answer questions about property facilities, services, and room accommodations.
• Use sales techniques to maximize revenue and manage data in the reservation system.
• Respond to rooming-request challenges and set up billing accounts according to accounting policies.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, document, and appropriately escalate guest issues and concerns.

Team and Service Duties

• Assist management with training, scheduling, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door Policy process.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, communicate professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.
• Follow company policies, confidentiality requirements, quality assurance standards, and professional appearance expectations.
• Read and verify information in different formats and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• No license or certification is specified.
