Position Summary
Oversee the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.
Process reservation requests and support guests with room types, rates, policies, and special requests.
Assist management with employee training, scheduling, counseling, motivation, and coaching.
Reservation Operations
- Review and implement new reservations procedures.
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
- Verify room availability and rates, and determine appropriate room types.
- Document special requests and respond to rooming challenges.
- Input and access data in the reservation system.
- Set up proper billing accounts according to accounting policies.
Guest Service and Revenue
- Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
- Answer questions about property facilities, services, and room accommodations.
- Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, document, or escalate guest issues and concerns.
