Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Researcher & Robotics Trainer based in Dubai.
The selected candidate will conduct research on robotics technologies, trends, and advancements while developing and delivering effective training programs in robotics.
Responsibilities include creating training materials, providing hands-on guidance to trainees, and ensuring practical application of knowledge.
The individual will collaborate with team members to support innovation and application of robotics solutions within the company’s operations.
Core Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Robotics, Automation, and Research
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Python, C++, Embedded C, and robotics software development
- Experience in mentoring and technical training
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop educational materials and practical instruction guides
- Knowledge of latest robotics technologies and industry trends
- Hands-on experience in embedded systems and sensor integration
- Experience in maritime logistics or container automation is an added advantage
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Engineering, or related field preferred
Technical Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robotics applications using Python, C++, and Embedded C
- Program ESP32 and Arduino firmware for sensor acquisition and control
- Integrate LiDAR, IMU, encoders, ultrasonic sensors, and camera systems
- Implement UART, I2C, and SPI communication between embedded devices and onboard computers
- Support AI integration including speech systems, NLP, and computer vision modules
- Design custom PCBs for motor drivers, sensor interfaces, and power management
- Troubleshoot electronics, embedded systems, and communication interfaces
- Create wiring diagrams, hardware documentation, and system architecture documents
- Develop CAD models and mechanical assemblies for robotic structures and enclosures
- Perform system bring-up, integration testing, and field validation
- Capture logs and analyze performance for debugging and optimization
- Build monitoring dashboards and lightweight GUIs for robot control and diagnostics
Teaching & Training Experience
- Teach Robotics, Coding, AI, and STEM programs for students and beginners
- Conduct hands-on workshops in:
- Python
- Scratch
- Arduino
- Robotics Fundamentals
• Artificial Intelligence Basics
- Design project-based STEM learning activities and robotics labs
- Mentor students in robotics competitions and innovation challenges
- Prepare lesson plans, technical presentations, practical assessments, and lab exercises
- Guide students in automation projects, sensor integration, and embedded programming
Professional Profile
- Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong hardware–software integration mindset
- Hands-on engineer with excellent troubleshooting skills
- Collaborative team player with mentoring and teaching capabilities
- Passionate about robotics innovation, STEM education, and student engagement
