Research Writing Residency 2027

The Humanities Research Fellowship for the Study of the Arab World program creates an energetic, multi-faceted research environment for the Humanities and the study of the Arab world. Fellows contribute to NYUAD's intellectual community through research and research-related activities, including sharing their work in progress with NYUAD faculty and students and participating in scholarly networks engaged in ongoing research. We welcome applications from mid-career and senior academics who are at least five years post-PhD, MFA or an equivalent terminal degree and have an established record of independent research. Applicants should normally hold an academic position at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent, or above.

Applications will not be considered complete without all required documentation including the Short Answer form.

Research Proposal (3-5 pages including references)

Short Answer Form
