JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Supports research and analytic projects across Samaritan Health Services. Collaborates closely with a variety of internal and external partners to lead projects and provide technical expertise related to study design, data analysis, and scientific writing. Promotes a system-wide culture of research and supports Samaritan’s growth as a learning health system.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Office of Academic Affairs provides leadership for Samaritan Health Services academic departments including post-graduate training programs, continuing medical education and library services; and works in collaboration with those supporting the educational needs of our medical staff. The office is responsible for academic strategic planning, faculty recruitment and development, course evaluation, academic budget planning and management, development and implementation of academic policies and assessment of educational resources.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in a health-related social science field required; PhD preferred. Three (3) years of experience with grant writing or analytic project management required.
