The incumbent will be responsible for tasks related to the preparation and basic operation of lab functions or social research.
Tasks could include, but are not limited to, set-up and basic operation of lab equipment, clean-up and maintenance of facilities, collection/coding of data, assisting with procedures on small animals, and performing interviews with participants in research studies.
- Minimum Master’s degree, and currently enrolled in a PhD program in public health. - Be able and willing to work 5 hours per week during the fall and spring terms - Have strong qualitative analytic skills and basic quantitative analytic skills. - Have a desire to engage in a team-based research environment. - Be self-motivated. - Have a willingness and eagerness to learn new things. - Preferable: Experience using and/or a basic understanding of Human-centered Design tools is highly preferrable.
