- Develop data-processing procedures that transform experimental data into meaningful product insights.
- Create algorithms and tools for research stimuli, content generation, and virtual simulation.
- Develop and implement machine-learning algorithms for simulation and research applications.
- Rigorously validate ML model performance and deploy validated models into simulated environments.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to identify and resolve product-performance issues.
- Support human factors, user-experience activities, and user evaluations.
- Engage directly with current and prospective customers to understand needs and communicate technical solutions.
What You Bring

- Knowledge of human-factor requirements and constraints associated with dismounted soldiers.
- Strong understanding of mechanics, kinematics, and trigonometry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning, organization, and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative engineering team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Military experience is a plus.
Work Environment
This position combines engineering, research, and hands-on laboratory work.
Responsibilities
may include:
- Working in laboratory and office environments.
- Regular operation of data-collection and research equipment.
- Working with weapon replicas and military VAS equipment.
- Using hand and power tools.
- Frequent standing and hands-on equipment interaction.
- Lifting equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Travel for military user evaluations and other research activities.
- Potential international travel.
Why This Role Matters
