The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre is a biomedical and hospital research centre affiliated with McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine.
Maelstrom is a scientific platform specializing in documenting, harmonizing, and integrating data across epidemiological studies.
Position Summary
The selected candidate will support data management, multidisciplinary project coordination, and research and development activities under the supervision of Maelstrom’s directors.
The Maelstrom team coordinates harmonized datasets integrating data from national and international cohort studies.
General Duties
- Carry out technical work related to data management and harmonization.
- Coordinate internal, national, and international projects.
- Validate data received from external partners and assess its harmonization potential.
- Process, transform, document, and validate generated data.
- Work with technical teams and external collaborators to implement project activities.
- Ensure deliverables are met and budgets are respected.
- Propose solutions to problems and contribute to methodological and technical tools.
- Contribute to grant applications, scientific articles, reports, presentations, and knowledge translation.
