Role Description

  • The Research Analyst is responsible for conducting structured research, analyzing data, and producing actionable insights to support strategic decision making across business, financial, market, or operational areas.
  • This role transforms complex information into clear, evidence based findings that guide planning, forecasting, and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting, validating, and organizing data from multiple sources such as industry reports, financial statements, databases, surveys, and public information.
  • Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities relevant to business objectives.
  • Preparing research reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries that communicate findings in a structured and decision ready format.
  • Conducting market analysis, competitor benchmarking, forecasting, scenario analysis, and performance evaluations depending on the focus area.
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams including finance, strategy, product, marketing, or operations to define research objectives, refine methodologies, and ensure insights align with organizational needs.
  • Contributing to improving research processes, data quality standards, and analytical frameworks.
  • Continuous monitoring of industry developments, economic conditions, market trends, and emerging technologies to ensure research outputs remain accurate, timely, and relevant.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and extract meaningful insights.
  • Ability to structure research problems and apply appropriate analytical methods.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet tools, data analysis software, reporting tools, and presentation applications.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and statistical methods is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of research methodologies including quantitative and qualitative analysis, survey design, data validation, and benchmarking techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely for both technical and non technical audiences.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple research tasks while meeting deadlines in a structured and fast paced environment.
