Role Overview
This is a part-time, fully remote Reporter position based in the United Arab Emirates.
The Reporter will independently research, investigate, write, verify, and publish news and feature content across digital and media channels.
Coverage may include news, business, community, industry, interviews, events, and longer-form investigative or feature projects.
Reporting Responsibilities
- Research original stories and monitor breaking news, official statements, industry developments, social media, and other information sources.
- Identify compelling story ideas and evaluate relevance, accuracy, timeliness, and audience value.
- Interview sources, experts, executives, officials, community members, and other stakeholders.
- Verify facts, names, dates, figures, quotes, locations, and supporting information using credible sources.
- Write articles, headlines, introductions, captions, summaries, and other editorial content.
- Adapt stories for websites, newsletters, social-media channels, and other approved platforms.
- Cover assigned events, conferences, exhibitions, corporate announcements, community activities, and industry developments where required.
- Coordinate photographs, recordings, notes, and other supporting story material.
- Collaborate with editors, photographers, producers, researchers, social-media teams, and newsroom personnel.
