Responsibilities

• Research and gather news from multiple sources
• Conduct interviews and verify facts
• Develop story ideas aligned with editorial priorities
• Write clear, accurate, and engaging news reports, features, and analyses for various formats
• Collaborate with editors and multimedia teams to produce timely content
• Attend press events and briefings
• Maintain strong relationships with sources
• Monitor local and international developments relevant to Mitsui High-tec Mexicana’s operations and interests

Requirements

• Strong reporting skills, including source development, interviewing, and fact-checking
• Excellent writing and news writing abilities, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and storytelling
• Effective communication skills for engaging with sources, colleagues, and stakeholders
• Ability to work with multimedia formats, such as digital, social, photo, and video content
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in news, business, or industry reporting, ideally in an international environment
• Strong understanding of journalistic ethics, editorial standards, and UAE media landscape
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus
