Role Overview
The Repairs Technician repairs Encore-owned equipment and supports transportation, scanning, tracking, internal billing, and warehouse functions.
The role maintains quality-control processes, updates the Service Central database, manages spare parts, and documents repairs.
Equipment Maintenance
- Repair and maintain Encore equipment, road cases, show-related items, and facility-related items.
- Support quality-control processes and procedures.
- Design or build devices that improve existing equipment or product performance.
- Order repair parts, maintain vendor relationships, and purchase shop-related items.
- Visit hotel locations to inspect equipment and identify repair needs.
- Report repair metrics and return on investment.
Technology and Customer Service
- Research and test new equipment and summarize its benefits, costs, and drawbacks.
- Identify product advances and recurring manufacturer-related equipment problems.
- Provide service to internal and external customers and communicate repair status.
- Produce repair-metric reports as needed.
