Role Overview
Manage repair dispositions, inspection findings, vendor support, and repair activities for NOV drilling equipment.
Support compliance with NOV procedures, quality requirements, and HSE policies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Issue repair dispositions for machining, welding, coating, inlays, pressure testing, and FATs after D&I.
- Issue dispositions for NCRs raised during repairs and perform root cause analysis.
- Provide vendors with technical support during repair of NOV equipment.
- Lead and assist the repair team during SPS and other major jobs.
- Identify and develop repair vendors and support WPS qualification.
Facility and Group Responsibilities
- Improve efficiency by developing tools, instruments, and new equipment.
- Review QC inspection reports and assist with inspection SOWs.
- Assist planning with repair scope, BOMs, and third-party repair cost estimates.
- Assist purchasing in identifying local parts sources.
- Perform PIB checks during equipment repair and support shop supervisors.
- Comply with company and HSE policies and procedures.
