SINTAQA is seeking a Sales Manager for Rental Power to drive AED 10-30M annual sales of large-scale diesel and gas generator projects in the UAE. The role requires 5-8 years of power generation sales experience, technical expertise in 1 MW+ systems, and strong client relationships.

Responsibilities
- Drive AED 10 30M annual sales of large scale diesel & gas generator projects
- Expand existing account database and close 8 12 major projects annually
- Manage strategic client accounts with 80%+ retention
- Close 3 15 MW+ multiple unit power plants (prime/standby/peak shaving)
- Understand load analysis, sizing, single line diagrams, compliance designs
- Support 80+ proposals annually
- Conduct strategic account visits (10 20/month)
- Prepare monthly proposals (8 10), quarterly business reviews, monthly pipeline reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years selling 1 MW+ diesel/gas generator projects
- 3+ years UAE/GCC experience
- AED 10M+ annual sales track record
- C level stakeholder engagement expertise
- Complex B2B sales cycle management (3 18 months)
- Technical expertise in diesel/gas engine fundamentals, load calculation, sizing, system design
- English: Fluent (mandatory)
- Valid UAE driving license, own vehicle
- UAE residency visa (preferred)

POSITION OVERVIEW
- Title: Sales Manager Rental Power
- Reports to: COO
- Location: Dubai, UAE (60% travel)
- Experience: 5 8 years power generation sales (1 MW+ power plants), 3+ years UAE/GCC
- Salary: AED 20K 30K base + commission.
CORE MANDATE
- Drive AED 10 30M annual sales of large scale diesel & gas generator projects (Gensets + SWGR + transformers + synch) to industrial, oil & gas, data center, and critical infrastructure clients.
- Expand existing account database and close 8 12 major projects annually.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & KPIs
- Account Management: Bring 10 strategic clients; 80%+ retention; AED 10 30M revenue
- Project Sales: Close 3 15 MW+ multiple unit power plants (prime/standby/peak shaving); 4 8 projects/year
- Technical Sales: Understand load analysis, sizing, single line diagrams, compliance designs; Support 80+ proposals / annual
- Conversion Rate: Proposals to orders 20 30%
- Client Meetings: Strategic account visits 10 20/month
QUALIFICATIONS
- Essential: Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years selling 1 MW+ diesel/gas generator projects
- 3+ years UAE/GCC experience
- AED 10M+ annual sales track record
- C level stakeholder engagement expertise
- Complex B2B sales cycle management (3 18 months)
- Technical Expertise: Diesel/gas engine fundamentals (Cummins, Caterpillar, Waukesha, MTU, Wärtsilä)
- High level: load calculation, sizing, system design
- Synchronization & parallel operation
- SWGR, trafos, distribution systems
- AutoCAD (reading), Excel, CRM software
- Preferred: Gas engine sales experience; Rental/EPC/power plant project background; Existing UAE clients network
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: AED 20K 30K/month
- Commission: 1% (0 20M) from revenue.
- Rental Commission: 3% annual contract value/monthly payments.
- Project Bonus: Additional for 10M+ deals
- Car Allowance: AED 3,500/month OR vehicle
- Fuel: AED 1,500/month OR card
- Benefits: Health insurance, 30 days leave, training, expense account
- Total Potential: AED 300K 700K+ annually
TYPICAL CLIENT PROJECTS
- Oil & Gas: 5 20 MW, N+1 redundancy, continuous; AED 10 50M
- Data Centers: 2 10 MW, N+2 redundancy, Tier III/IV; AED 5 30M
- Healthcare: Gas+CHP+Cooling: 2 5 MW, N+1, 10 sec transfer; AED 3 15M
- Hospitality: 1 5 MW, prime + standby; AED 2 10M
- Industrial: 5 50 MW, prime power, CHP capable; AED 15 50M+
- District Cooling: 3 15 MW, gas engines, CHP; AED 8 40M
- Infrastructure: 2 20 MW, N+2 redundancy, ultra reliable; AED 5 30M
WORK SCHEDULE & DELIVERABLES
- Hours: Monday Friday, 9 AM 6 PM (flexible for client meetings)
- Travel: 60% UAE (Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, RAK, Al Ain), 5% international
- Key Deliverables: Monthly proposals (8 10), quarterly business reviews with top 20 accounts, monthly pipeline reports, annual strategic account plans
