Rental Associate

Rental associates comprise most of the rental department and are responsible for fulfilling customer orders under the guidelines set by the Rental Manager.

This position requires the ability to multi-task and a base level of technical knowledge in the event production field.

All associates greet our customers in a friendly and professional manner whether in-person, on the phone or over email.

They suggest appropriate audio, video, lighting or staging equipment for customer’s event and accurately enter the order into our inventory tracking system.

They fill customer orders, take payments, assist customers in loading and unloading their vehicles, and address any customer concerns or questions.

Associates ensure all rental paperwork is in order and that the equipment is appropriately marked in and out of stock in our inventory software.

They check returned equipment for functionality and log the items that need maintenance or repair.

They may be assigned to do simple repairs and/or clean the equipment before returning it to the stock.

They keep the workshop and sales floor clean and neat.

Associates are occasionally asked to drive company vehicles to deliver or pick up orders.

They occasionally have the opportunity to facilitate retail sales.

They may be asked to help in the event production department, loading and/or unloading trucks.

They may be assigned other duties at the discretion of the Rental Department Manager.
