Role Description

  • This part time Remote Sales Representative role at Section 31 focuses on promoting and supporting software solutions and services for defense and space related stakeholders.
  • The representative engages prospective and existing customers through digital channels, conducts product demos, and explains technical capabilities in accessible terms.
  • The role includes identifying potential clients, qualifying leads, and managing a pipeline of opportunities in coordination with internal product and engineering teams.
  • The representative responds to inquiries, provides timely customer support, and gathers feedback to inform future product improvements.
  • This is a remote position that requires independent work, consistent communication with distributed team members, and adherence to any applicable government or organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with technical and non technical stakeholders.
  • Customer Service skills, with the ability to support clients, resolve issues, and maintain long term relationships.
  • Sales skills, including lead generation, prospect qualification, and closing opportunities in a consultative manner.
  • Training skills, with the ability to guide customers through product features and onboarding processes.
  • Sales Management skills, such as pipeline tracking, forecasting, and coordinating with cross functional teams.
  • Experience selling software, SaaS, or technology solutions, ideally in government, aerospace, defense, or related fields.
  • Comfort working remotely across time zones, with strong organizational skills and self directed work habits.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and basic sales analytics; ability to learn new digital tools quickly.
  • Relevant education or equivalent experience in business, marketing, technology, or a related discipline is beneficial.
