The Remote Manager, Subcontractor Services is responsible for leading the subcontractor management function and overseeing the full lifecycle of subcontractor engagement across the United States.
This role is accountable for vendor sourcing, qualification, onboarding, contract administration, compliance management, insurance and licensing verification, performance management, and subcontractor documentation governance.
Candidates with an established network of low-voltage contractors are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a small to medium-sized team responsible for subcontractor services, compliance, and vendor administration.
- Develop and maintain a nationwide network of qualified subcontractors and identify vendors across all regions of the United States.
- Vet subcontractor qualifications, capabilities, financial stability, references, certifications, safety records, and operational capacity.
- Oversee subcontractor onboarding processes and ensure completion of all required documentation.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, Terms & Conditions, service level agreements, and payment terms.
- Manage Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and verify required insurance coverage, limits, endorsements, and policy types.
- Ensure compliance with insurance requirements established by customer and prime contractor agreements.
- Track insurance expiration dates and coordinate timely renewals for continued compliance.
