Role Description
- This is a part time, remote Live Chat Agent role supporting 28 Community’s members and prospective members through online communication channels.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries via website chat and social platforms
- Provide accurate information about events and membership
- Guide users through basic processes such as sign up, onboarding, and troubleshooting access issues
- Monitor chat queues, escalate complex questions to relevant team members
- Document recurring issues or feedback to help improve member experience
- Assist with basic community support tasks, such as sharing resources, updating FAQs
Qualifications
- Strong written communication skills in English
- Comfort with digital tools and online platforms, including chat software, CRM systems, and collaboration tools
- Customer support mindset, with proven ability to handle inquiries, resolve basic issues, and escalate challenges appropriately
- Attention to detail and reliability in documenting interactions, following workflows, and adhering to community guidelines
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and respond promptly during agreed shifts
- Experience in online community support, customer service, or help desk roles is beneficial
- Familiarity with startup, tech, or veteran communities in Israel is a plus
- Availability to work flexible part time hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed
