Must-haves
- 5+ years of professional frontend development — strong HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript fundamentals
- 3+ years building and customizing WordPress sites, including Gutenberg block development (ACF or React-based blocks)
- Solid working knowledge of PHP (7.x/8.x) — enough to read, debug, and extend WordPress/Drupal codebases confidently
- Practical Drupal experience — theming, content architecture, or module-level work
- Familiarity with WordPress hooks/filters and general LAMP-stack conventions (MySQL, Git)
- Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating in a remote, client-facing environment
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Code.
Nice-to-haves
Experience with React or Angular
Laravel or Symfony
Docker and Linux environment familiarity
AWS or other cloud platform exposure
