Role Description

  • The Remote Finance Coordinator at SAMU 31 is a part time role responsible for supporting day to day financial operations.
  • This role includes assisting with the preparation, review, and reconciliation of financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, and monitoring expenses and revenues.
  • The coordinator will help track budgets, support invoice processing and payments, and coordinate with internal teams to clarify financial data and resolve discrepancies.
  • The role also involves producing clear financial reports for management, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and participating in periodic financial reviews and audits.
  • All work is performed remotely, with regular online meetings and collaboration using digital tools.

Qualifications

  • Strong finance and accounting skills, including understanding of budgeting, expense tracking, and basic bookkeeping.
  • Ability to interpret and prepare financial statements, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
  • Solid analytical skills to review financial data, identify trends, and support decision making.
  • Effective communication skills to present financial information clearly and collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Proficiency with accounting or ERP software and standard office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, online collaboration platforms).
  • Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in a coordinator or support role in finance or accounting is preferred.
