Role Description

  • This part time Remote Customer Support Specialist role focuses on providing responsive, empathetic support to individuals contacting SAMU 13 Zone de défense Sud through digital and phone channels.
  • The specialist will handle incoming inquiries, document cases accurately, and route requests to the appropriate medical or administrative teams according to established protocols.
  • Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting basic technical issues related to remote access or communication tools, updating records in internal systems, and following up to ensure that requests are resolved.
  • The role also involves monitoring service levels, escalating urgent situations in line with procedures, and contributing feedback to improve support processes and information resources.

Qualifications

  • Ability to deliver high quality Customer Support and maintain strong Customer Satisfaction through clear, calm, and respectful communication.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to communicate with diverse populations in sensitive situations.
  • Comfort providing basic Technical Support, including guiding users through remote tools, troubleshooting common access issues, and documenting technical incidents.
  • Applied Analytical Skills to assess incoming requests, prioritize cases, identify patterns, and follow structured procedures for escalation and resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is an asset.
  • Reliable remote work capabilities, including a secure internet connection, ability to work scheduled part time shifts, and adherence to confidentiality and data protection standards.
  • Previous experience in customer service, healthcare support, emergency coordination, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant education or training in communications, healthcare support, social work, or a related discipline is beneficial.
