Remote Copy Strategist

Required Skills and Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have:
• Excellent written English with strong proofreading, editing, grammar, punctuation, and syntax skills
• Ability to write and edit at an excellent level without the use of AI tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, accurate content
• Interest in learning SEO, web writing, GEO, AEO, and digital content strategy
• Ability to write, edit, and follow strict content production guidelines
• Leadership potential and an understanding of proper delegation
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion with client information
• General understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Tumblr, LinkedIn, and similar platforms
• Strong communication, organization, and project coordination skills
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time
• Reliable workstation, including a fast computer, microphone, webcam, reliable internet, and reliable power

Preferred Skills

• The following experience is preferred but not required:
• Experience or education as a marketing copywriter, advertising copywriter, content strategist, SEO copywriter, editor, or similar professional role
• Degree in English, public relations, advertising, creative writing, marketing, communications, or a related field
• Prior experience in management, mentorship, team leadership, or content review
• Experience with SEO content, web content development, eCommerce content, lead generation content, or digital marketing campaigns

Remote Work Environment

Compensation

• For candidates located in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado , the starting base pay for this position ranges from $17 to $35 per hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority of the position offered. For candidates outside of California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, compensation may fall outside the listed range.
